Golden Threads – Reflections from 50 years of The Congregational Federation and The United Reformed Church is a new 184-page book full of reflections from ministers and others from the Congregational Federation and the United Reformed Church, to mark the 50th anniversaries of both denominations.

Edited by Peter Brain and Alan Marsden, the book, published jointly by the URC and the Congregational Federation, is divided into four main sections, with forewords from Yvonne Campbell and John Bradbury, the General Secretaries of both churches.

Special moments, Opportunity and challenge, Patterns of ministry and One main focus are the titles of the sections. The book includes a list of contributors and where they currently serve, or have served.

Proceeds from the book will go to The Trussell Trust, the organisation working to stop UK hunger and poverty, whose network of foodbanks provides emergency food and support to people in crisis.
